.NET Framework Error

Veröffentlicht · aktualisiert

This error should come while installing Hotspot Shield on a Windows 7 or later PC.

  1. Uninstall Hotspot Shield

  2. Check C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Hotspot Shield or C:\\Program Files\\Hotspot Shield - no folder should be there

  3. Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653

  4. Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Update 3 RC from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685

  5. Download and install HSS from here https://www.hotspotshield.com/vpn/vpn-for-windows/

  6. If you are using a Windows 7 OS, then please install the Windows 7 Service Pack 1, you may find it from the official Microsoft website: https://www.microsoft.com/es-ES/download/details.aspx?id=5842.

  7. Run the sfc /scannow.  Important: For the sfc /scannow command to work properly, it must be executed from an elevated Command Prompt window in Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7. This is not required in previous versions of Windows.

*Tip: There's a space between sfc and /scannow. Executing the sfc command with its option next to it (without space) might result in an error.*

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the above will solve the issue, however, in case the incident persists, please try re-installing the whole operating system or reproduce the issue on a different Windows PC.
