Here’s the logic for most upsell touchpoints that we show our users, in hope they’ll upgrade to Elite.
Desktop users – worldwide:
- User wants to access Netflix, HBO GO, BBC\* or Sky.com\\*, they will get this mandatory page: https://www.hsselite.com/restricted-page-01b1y-US-en?v=B&p=1Y&origurl=$host
- After user consumes 300Mb of free bandwidth AND they then wants to visit an Adult site\*, they’ll see this page asking them to either Upgrade to Elite or wait until their free timer is reset: http://anchorfree.us/d/bw/?v=3
- After user consumes 500Mb of free bandwidth AND they then wants to visit a Video site\*, they’ll see this page asking them to either Upgrade to Elite or wait until their free timer is reset: http://anchorfree.us/d/bw/?v=2
- If user downloaded 1GB and wants to continue browsing, they won’t be able to do so and instead will see this page: http://anchorfree.us/d/bw/?v=4. They cannot download any more content (aka go to any http sites) until they become Elite or wait for the bandwidth to reset in 24 hours.
- If user uploaded 1GB and wants to continue, they won’t be able to do so and instead will see this page: http://hsselite.com/bandwidth-wall5 They cannot upload any more until they become Elite or wait for the bandwidth to reset in 24 hours.
- If user downloaded 1GB and is somehow able to continue browsing, they’ll see this page as a pop-up every 5 min.: http://www.hsselite.com/bandwidth-shaping?t=0602-003-sh1
